Bayonetta is a QUEER Icon!
I thought we talked about this already.
"Bayonetta is a queer icon." I genuinely have no idea where this notion comes from. I guess because she's always very flamboyant and sexual like drag queens, but isn't that just stereotyping queer people as flamboyant and sexual?
"You don't even know what gay is in gaming and yet you can say certain games are and aren't gay." But we do know what gay is, and canonically speaking, Bayonetta is definitely not gay. Your head canon is not canon.
"I'm 100% certain that some people working on the majority of games are queer." I don't see how this is relevant in any way.
"I'm not the one who makes a living screaming about woke and LGBT." Neither am I, but even if I am, that doesn't negate the fact that Bayonetta is not gay.
"The queer community loves Bayonetta." I'm straight and I love Judy. That doesn't mean she's straight.
"Your gooner baby daddy thinks that a game is gay if gay people work on it. That's his definition, not mine." I have no idea who's the "gooner baby daddy" here, and I've seen all sorts of crazy claims that anti-woke people make. No, if gay people work on a game, that doesn't mean the game is gay. I don't know who made that claim, and I don't agree to that.
Either way, Bayonetta is not gay. She might be flamboyant and sexually over-the-top, but that doesn't make her canonically gay. If anything, saying that she's gay because of that is actually more offensive, but that's just me.
