DM Notes: Because the players used the Shield Guardian in the previous battle, the vampire told his wight ambushers to target it first. They did this not, as the players believe, to undo the mistake of letting them have it in the first place, but because it is the only member of the group that the party wouldn't be able to revive. The vampire might be an arcane spellcaster, but he's fully aware of how divine magic works and knows Gruunash can use it. Speaking of whom, I am fully impressed by how well he was able to tank all those werewolf gunners.
