Bethesda Does it Again with Moldy Fallout 76 Helmets
UPDATE: 32 out of 20000 helmets were sold before the recall was released by the USA Consumer Product Safety Commision. These helmets, exclusively sold by Gamestop, were made by a third-party company and not by Bethesda, as this The Verge article reports: https://www.theverge.com/2019/9/25/20883431/fallout-76-helmet-recalled-mold-gamestop
Ultimately, I still believe some fault lies with Bethesda -- this is official merch, third-party or not, and the people responsible for putting Bethesda's stamp on these helmets should've been more careful. If it's their product, it reflects badly on them.
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION BELOW:
Don't you just love Collector's Items? The shiny look of them, the prestige of owning something that shows the world how much of a fan you are, the smell of mold coming from the inside of it...
It really is remarkable how Bethesda can continually jump from one ridiculous mess to another without so much as a moment's notice.
I could have downloaded one of the thousand Fallout 76 trailers and used it as a backdrop to this but I'm sure as hell not going to give them any sort of advertisement.
