Taking on Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang, the Toad Guai miniboss in Black Myth: Wukong, can be tricky, but here’s a quick guide to help you out. You’ll find him lurking in the Bamboo Grove’s Snake Trail area, ready to ambush you in a marsh. His attacks may be few, but they’re fast and deadly.
When he starts swiping with his arms, dodge to the side and wait for him to leap back. That’s your moment—hit him with the Immobilize spell and unleash your counterattack. Be especially careful when he lowers his arms across his chest; it means he’s about to lunge belly-first at you. Dodge to the side quickly to avoid taking a hit.
Watch out for his tongue sweep attack too. It has a wide range, so dodge back and forth to stay clear. Or, better yet, use Immobilize to stop him in his tracks.
