So in my previous video on Blade and Soul, I rallied against what I thought was the worst cash grab in a free to play MMO. Well, I hadn't yet discovered the whole story. It turns out that the advertised packs are not the only way to gain premium. There are options available that do not provide all the trappings of the chest but give you an affordable way to go premium.

In doing the math on the individual packs available, they actually come in CHEAPER than WoW. This was shocking to learn. I was so ready to be pissed at NCSoft based on my initial look at the premium packs. I also got right into the game at the time of this video without any queue. This was at 4PM EST so maybe it is a sign the queue is getting better. I still think they should be better prepared for this onslaught or perhaps be looking into adding more servers to even things out. I just don't like the idea that they are billing "fast pass" as a thing. Seems a tad shady.
