Marvel Avengers Alliance-Spec OPs 32 first look!
10Dropping on a very odd day of the week, Spec OPs 32 (Follow the Leader) has hit MAA. The spec ops centers around Betty Ross turned She Red-Hulk and features a new boss called Leader, a group boss called Zzzax and a lockbox hero named the Winter Soldier.
Similar to the comics, Leader plays a part in corrupting General Ross' daughter. She's going to be quite strong and you are given a taste of her in chapter 1 of the spec ops. Pudgy Soldier will finally be available to us as people have clamored for him for years now.
He brings his mines with him from his run as a boss but unlike Fixer, he retains the AOE portion of those mines. Apparently, they will not stack with Fixer's mines but Fixer, WS and 2 agent guns can blow them up as explosives. We also face a new era in PVP as gamma radiation and its family of debuffs might become quite common. Fortunately, we're given several good tools to combat it. It's pretty much like seeing a disease AND a cure hit at the same time. Also, could we suddenly have very good use for that shitty, old covert ops item the Rad Sniffer?? Zzax shows up as a group boss. I fought a blaster version of him with scrapper HAIF, tact SGirl and my agent. I lockboxed him but only did about 10%. Zzax missed way more times than he hit. I will definitely be doing some group boss videos and may even return to streaming for a "Marvel Hour" during the day!
