Finally got my new PC and gotta say im pretty satisfied with how the game looks now.
I made this video because i met alot of players in F8 that were surprised to see me do this when they failed the disables by putting in dazes and knockbacks.

As for what exactly is going on in this video:
I am making use of the fact that the fire that removes the Ice Debuff spawns time based and not after the jump of the Yeti.
Knowing this, i can freeze the Yeti with my Backstep (make sure you stand behind him otherwise he would just continue his rotation) and delay his jump.
Doing that will spawn the fire Aoe on the ground earlier, sometimes mid jump and release people out of the Ice before the Yeti can pop the ice and cause a wipe.

Obviously to do this you will have to put 2 points into the Backstep (SS) and to make this work you need to time the Backstep (SS) properly at 1 second remaining on the Ice Debuff and position yourself close-ish to the boss.

The second clip merely shows a different scenario in which i simulated what some of the pug groups in F8 like to do and how you could adapt the strategy.
