Well it certainly has been a long while since I've played this hack or even a hack at all. I quickly remembered why I stopped playing this one within the first minute of playing it again however and that was because the two levels in this video. Usually these videos for this series don't get edited and get upload as is but there were a bit too many failures which caused the original recording to go up to 24 minutes which I did not want this part to be nearly that long. (Especially considering its just two levels.) My failures didn't go unnoticed however. Before I talk about anything else, I should mention that the Random Video series no longer exists and in replacement comes the "SMW Hack Demo Playthrough" series. I talked about why the random video series no longer exists in another video already and for more info about this SMW Hack Demo Playthrough series, just check my channel while it's still there. (Assuming youtube is going to get rid of the about me section.)

Ah so I'm back to playing this again and I'm kind of glad I did because I do actually like this hack. (Or collection of levels.) It's just these two levels really put me off to continuing for a while for but I finally had the urge to come back and try again. The Ghost house wasn't so bad actually. The main problem about the level was, on top of having no midpoints (Like every level in the hack.) there was literally only 1 power up placed just at the beginning of the level and no other ones and judge by how long it took to complete the level, it was a pretty lengthy level. Honestly speaking, would it kill to add at least one more power up? Well after a while, most of the parts of the level started to become fairly easy except the underwater part which determined if I'd get through the level or not most of the time. Overall wasn't so bad.

The second level is kind of what put me off to continuing. At the very least, it was good on giving power ups throughout the level. I liked the whole running concept as I don't see too many levels built around that. There was only one problem I had with the level. Those damn venus plants! Seriously? Putting them right in front of the "one tile" landing spots and having them come up as soon as you make the land? (Also considering you had to get quite a bit speed to make the jump in the first place.) Not going to hold myself back for this one.....that's really dickish, it's like almost guaranteed hit. It's also kind of hard to just stop in place after gaining that much speed. (After the first jump that is, it gets easier to stop when just jumping across.) Also after stopping in front of the venus plants, if they shoot upwards at you (Which will be caused by jumping of course.) it's also pretty much a guaranteed hit. Not to mention those jumps weren't the easiest to make as well. Aside from those parts, the rest of the level wasn't bad in terms of difficulty. (I thought the cave segment was kind of not needed but meh.) It may seem like I'm complaining just because it's something I had trouble with but that I just really didn't agree with.

Thankfully I got through these levels so I can finally move on to new content and feel more confident about continuing the hack!
