Info: Well I'm not really doing much today, so I figured why not finish up a level I started yesterday, since my goal is to not spend more than a day on a level. This level actually takes place in World 6 which is mushroom/swamp themed though the swamp theme doesn't start till the second half of the world. This level was overall quite tricky to make. I never really worked with a fire atmosphere so I wasn't quite sure how to execute theme of this level at first. It started out with me changing the palettes of the plants. While the piranha plants are burning away, some of the lotus plants haven't quite burned away yet. (But well on their way to being burned away.) Some of the foreground is dark because of the flames as well as the mushrooms being destroyed and the bridge for the same reasons. The second part of the level was actually a little easier to work with but a bit harder to design due to no slopes. Also, not sure if anybody would notice but the first section is just starting to get burned away while the second section has already caught on fire. (Also, the area starts to look more burnt as you progress in the first section.) So this level actually has two exits. I suppose one of them could be called a secret exit though it's not really a secret exit because it's in plain sight. (The pipe at the end of the first section.) That and both routes are required for reasons I won't explain due to spoiler purposes.

This level I was overall satisfied with. It was a hard one to work on but I think I like how it turned out. Think I'm just about half way done with this world surprisingly. Comments and feedback are always appreciated and welcome as I'd really like to hear your opinions.
