Blonney Goes All Out (R1999 Roguelike, Difficulty 15)
(Bless the player who happened to have an R10 Blonney as one of their Assist characters)
Blonney is a character I've been itching to try out in front. She's one of those characters that's a lot less impressive as an Aid character (tl;dr Aid characters can't use Insight effects, so certain character gimmicks, like Blonney's, don't work even if you try to set them as Aid).
She's unfortunately not strong as I imagined, but Blonney still has some fun combos thanks to how her Insight works. Blonney's Critical Rate and Damage temporarily increases when she uses an Ultimate, and it seems like this effect kicks in even if Blonney uses other character's Ultimates. So you can use Blonney with certain low rarity supports (John Titor, Bunny Bunny), spamming their powerful support Ultimate while Blonney gets to use their powered up Rank 3 Incantations.
I decided to go with Aid Eagle in this final battle since she's a very underrated Aid character. With Insightful Aid specifically, she has a ridiculous 550% damage attack that also has a leech effect (you can see in this video Blonney basically topping her HP to full with one hit). Her Ult also has the built-in "excess Crit Rate = bonus Crit damage" which Crit attackers like Lilya or Blonney can use. I also brought Aid Lorelei and Aid Twins Sleep for max Crit Buffs / Debuffs respectively.
As for the overall run, I had some pretty good luck with my artefacts. I managed to craft the double boxing glove artefact and ALSO was able to duplicate it for further Luck shenanigans. This was overall pretty fun, I wish it wasn't so hard to find specific characters though.
