Blue Fire Demo Playthrough (3D Platformer with Zelda/Hollow Knight Vibes)
Recently played the demo for the game Blue Fire and found it enjoyable. Reminds me a good bit of Breath of the Wild only with more running and jumping on walls. The aesthetics has some Hollow Knight/Dark Souls themes to it. We're an entity (perhaps a vessel?) perfectly balanced between void and flame out to defeat the machinations of a fallen god slowly corrupting everything. Bonus points if we end up having to set ourselves aflame at a bonfire.
I did experience a fatal error on Croh and had to redo Uthas' Temple (when I did so, the game had had an update that had some minor graphical/gameplay changes). I felt the camera was a little wonky with movement and could get stuck on weird angles when locking onto targets. The targeted dash could come up short against the aerial enemies too at times. I was kind of bad gauging distances in my play but I really like the wall running style platforming.
Overall the demo was a good experience and one I wish them the best with.
