With the next steps being blue chips and LDS, we need a lot more mining and a lot more green chips. Reworking that nasty hack of train parking at the smeltface will feel good, but so far it's just preparation. Onlining the other half of the green chips build is cool, and utilising mining drills on every patch of iron & copper inside the perimeter is great.

But it's quite possibly still not enough ore to get everything done. It also entails a powergrid extension, because of course it does. Especially when coal liquefaction is the petrogas plan. But at least with a full wall with lasers and flame the base won't die soon, even if we have to later figure out how to get out of the rather solid walls we're now safely inside. This might end up involving dumb landfill tricks, who knows?
