Got a new monitor (27” MSI g272QPF E2) and hooked up my Spectrum Next and played some
“Bobby Carrot 🥕”
The game is a charming top-down puzzle game: It’s a conversion of the original mobile puzzle game series created by FDG Mobile Games (first in 2004). This game is a recent homebrew.
Gameplay: guide a rabbit (Bobby) around each level to collect all carrots (or Easter eggs in bonus stages), navigate traps, activate switches, find keys, and then reach the exit target. Its had a clever level design and the loading screen is amzing.
The 128K version is usually preferred due to its improved visibility and added audio.
