PS1 Demo One Version 5 CDDA Music played within Psygnosis V-CD
1Anyone living in the PAL regions like me, who just got their brand-new PlayStation way back in late 1997 and the early-mid parts of 1998, may remember this one particular pack-in demo disc that came with their system. It is what we always knew as the one and only Demo One, in particular, Version 5, the one that most of us across the PAL regions got and experienced.
On Demo One Versions 1-5, there is an application included on them called V-CD, created by Psygnosis under the original name Sound 2 Light. If the working title doesn't already imply, it is a CDDA Audio visualizer. Pop in a music CD and watch the music coming out of those CDs get visualized.
In this video, I visualized the CDDA music of some of the demos included on Version 5 for nostalgia sakes. The CDDA tracks for Rapid Racer and the Manta Ray tech demos are skipped. The reason: Copyright.
