There are a ton of ways to introduce new players to tabletop role-playing games like dungeons and dragons. But getting your friends to give it a try might be a tough sell. They ned to be into fantasy , sci-fi, or one of the other common tropes found in a rpg game. The key is finding common interests between a rpg and a perspective new gamer. Luckily if these are your friends you probably already share some common interest and have an idea what they like. There is good chance you already know if they are the kind of person to give dnd a try or not, but it doesn't hurt to ask. it could be pleasant surprise for everyone involved as a new hobby is discovered.
