As an avid singleplayer Borderlands fan, it's always important to me that the game's challenges are balanced for solo play. That wasn't always the case in BL1, and although the missions are structured differently this time around the sequel doesn't appear to be much of an improvement in that specific regard. In particular, there are a lot of insanely busy fights which are hard to manage on your own simply because there's so much *stuff* going on at the same time. With the notable exception of one seriously bugged (but thankfully optional) arena fight, nothing so far has been truly outrageous as far as the difficulty goes. That being said, I definitely die and have to respawn *a lot*, and probably more so than I had to in the original game.
