It’s not like the boss fights in the original Haunted Castle were terrible, they were average, but M2 has gone the extra mile to completely re-work each one into a fun encounter. Of course, graphically, they are much more elaborate and colorful, but more importantly their patterns, behavior, and play mechanics are much more involved this time around.
