Broken Age is a point and click adventure from one of the guys that brought you The Secret of Monkey Island back in the day. It features beautiful hand-drawn graphics and good quality voice acting, making it almost like watching a cartoon.

I've never been a big fan of the genre myself, but this game is just lovely to look at even when you're not doing much and is full of humorous touches. It's also a ground-breaking Kickstarter project as, according to Wikipedia, "its success helped to establish Kickstarter and other crowdfunding mechanisms as a viable alternative to traditional venture capital and publisher funding for niche video game titles."
