[UNDUB] Testing Fatal Frame / Project Zero on Xbox
I had to get back on my OG Xbox to test Project Zero/ Fatale Frame, so hit that "like" button!
This "undub" version of the game can be found online more easily than you think and despite we all would prefer having the whole trilogy undubbed on PS2, it just makes sense to see the Xbox version receiving the best treatment: it is, after all, the most complete edition of the game. Unfortunately in this condition the game is unplayable: text dialogues and menu are in English but both the real time cutscenes and the prerendered cinematics are in Japanese only with CHINESE subs. Fixing it could be quite easy (and I might work on this personally) but I need some help from romhackers with past experiences with Xbox titles.
Fatal Frame, known as Zero: Special Edition in Japan and Project Zero in Europe, is a Japanese survival horror game and the special edition of the first game.
This version was developed and published by Tecmo on November 22, 2002 in North America and February 6, 2003 in Japan, and was published by Microsoft Game Studios on May 2, 2003 in Europe.
This version was released nearly one year after the first version, and included additions such as enhanced visuals, more ghosts, more unlockables and an added difficulty setting.
