Faspons Doom modification together with Castle Nevermore WAD by Björn Ostmann on the Utimate-Agitation difficulty level, 100% Secrets achieved.Faspons is a weapon modification that changes some of the vanilla weapons to a more modern look, practically all of them had been rehauled to some extent. Instead of the useless pea shooter pistol at start, we are given an Assault Rifle with 30+1 rounds in magazine plus chamber with faster rate of fire. Shotgun now holds 9 shells in tube, it has an option to switch between two reload modes (faster and slower), the slower one deals more damage to the targets. Super Shotgun is practically the same with a slightly different sprite, a powerful weapon against lots of small targets, yet with a quite big spread of fire. Chaingun has a separate ammo from Assault Rifle, it holds now up to maximum 500 rounds, a really powerful weapon but unfortunately eats ammo really fast. The new Rocket Launcher for sure is one of the best weapons in Faspons, holds up to 10! rockets in drum, really fast rate of fire and a really big damage, superb stuff. It's so good to use that on maps with plenty of rockets (like Castle Nevermore), you will chew through Hell Knights, Revenants, Cacodemons or Arch-Viles with ease. Unfortunately for you in this WAD, the only available Rocket Launcher is located in one of the 8 secrets, if you play without finding it, this map will give you a lot of headache. You are also going to love a Plasma Rifle, this beauty holds up to 80 cells in magazine, extremely high DPS and rate of fire, it stunlocks a lot of monsters with such amount of plasma. The boss at the end of the level is a Cyberdemon, you can pretty much soften him up with infighting against 3 Barons of Hell, a favourable method to do.
