16Some major differences with Vigilante :
The font used in Vigilante still the same, but the main color is in red instead of the original orange.
The music is different from Vigilante, as both games don't share the same theme setting.
The voices used in the game are still the same from Vigilante.
The game is slower paced compared to the original.
Due to that fact listed earlier, you cannot spam attacks at a fast rate like in the original, which makes the game harder to beat.
Air attacking is more laggy than usual.
Common enemies die in two hits instead of one.
Some hazards, such as explosive barrels, kill the player instantly.
The game doesn't include a secondary weapon which Vigilante included (nunchakus) beside stage 3.
The game was ported for the Commodore Amiga by another company GGL.
In the game itself player controls a swashbuckling sailor, who wants rescue his comrades. He fights against pirates, he punches and kicks enemies, avoids obstacles, and fights against bosses at the end of each level. The game has only 4 levels a port, town, castle and dungeon.
Stage 3 make you use a gun to complete it, but it wasn't design for it at all, it barely works and player is stuck every time he shoots, also if you shoot slow you get bombed for some pirates on the background and the timer will kill you as well.
To dodge enemies bullets you need to jump using up on joystick or super jump using the attack button + up, those mechanics make this level a platform with bad controls. Not to mention that if you get hit you lose your gun and need to recover it, in later parts of the stage it simply vanish in the oblivion, make it impossible to complete the stage.
The game also a limit of 5 continues after that you simply lose, making sense why is so short, the full of cheap deaths and the protagonist "chunk of wood" movements.
