Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is a a RPG in a Style that looks straight like Paper Mario, but with own characters and in an own "dimension" since the heroes are bugs. So you see the world from their perspective.
The timed battle system works also like this. But you play with a Party of different people. Each of them got their own style of attack and the timing minigame is based on them. The Video got a bit longer, since i wanted to beat at least the first boss, or finish a chapter.
So since you not only do your battles, you walk through the landscape (which so far didn't offer much freedom), you see the enemies and can strike them first to get an advantage in these battles.
In some instances you also do some (so far) easy puzzles, to keep the gameplay fresh.
For this video for kids, since i think that kids really would enjoy the game, easy story, light puzzles and of course the adorable little bugs.
