Epic Chef is a mix between a farming and cooking simulator. Where you not only farm the vegetables but also cook them. The farming part is basically like in any other games, make a spot, throw the seed in and something will grow. It just happens alot quicker. The cooking process is a minigame, where you throw in a bunch of ingredients stir or flip them in the pan. But it is a bit more complicated than that, since you flip them in the pan a bit around and stir them when they form bubbles. Also you get bonuses for adding these ingredients in a distinct order.
So in this tutorial section you get the bonus for adding a carrot in the empty pan, then add a tomato and you get a bonus for the potato if it gets added after the tomato.

The whole game comes in a cartooney and blocky style where the characters constantly making funny faces. Kinda like walking smileys.
