Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils is a PC Game and a Gambeboy Color styled platformer.
So the colors are limited on each sprite, but with colorful background, which makes all the charactes stand out from the background, while keeping the game colorful.
But since it's a pc game, it runs at a good speed and also in a widescreenformat . Speaking of speed, if you want, you can really race through these levels, since you can run, do slide jumps (which propells you forward), but there is no need to rush, since there is no timer to beat. But it's nice to have that option.
The goal is basically to reach the end of each level and find the collectibles (optional). So the level is partially linear, but also offers some secrets to find, which makes the levels more interesting.
So far i really like the leveldesign, it's simple enough that you know where to go, but also go some traps and enemies on the way, that you need to be careful for your steps.
