You might wonder why the link is for Lycanthorn 2, reason is that you can play the first part in this game too. And this video is just about Lycanthorn 1.

Btw. the game is free. So a choppy system where i cheesed some of the bosses is excused for this reason :p.
But to be fair, the game is hard. You die pretty quickly. There is no invulnerability when you get hit. So if the enemy shoots you with a stream of bullets or multiple bullets at once, you can die instantly.

So that aside, Lycanthorn feels a bit like a 3D Castlevania. You get your long reaching melee weapon, you can throw holy water at the enemy and perform a flying kick attack. These are your base method of defending your life against hordes of enemies, that comes in some variety. The levels are closed , so there is only a start the level and the exit, so youu can't get lost here (atleast in LyThorn1). But you have a bit back and forth to get keys, that let you open doors of the same colors.
