Build It - Vanilla Minecraft Chest Sorting Machine - 1.8
I always wondered if this could be done, and now it can. Done in vanilla 1.8 Minecraft, you can build a sorting system using redstone, comparators, repeaters, trapped chests, regular chests, hoppers, and droppers.
Special thanks to AaronE215 for the tutorial, also to Sethbling and a few others like Minstrel271 and JL2579 for this idea.
I did NOT design the machine, only this simple step-by-step tutorial. This is Minstrel271's design that was inspired by SethBling's original idea and JL2579's improvements.
