Building The Lego Star Wars UCS Venator Pt. 3 (Building The Ion Thrusters & Lots Of Greebling!)
Today we go into our third build video of the new Lego Star Wars UCS Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser set #75367, with 5,375 pieces. For todays video we are on book three, and the first half of box two. This chunk of the build consisted of 231 building pages, 13 more bags, no stickers, used all but the plague in our extra parts bag, and about 4 hours. This brings our build time up to 11.5 hours. This portion of the build consisted of mostly all lego pieces, which is super fun. By now we are used to a lot of technic with these UCS sets, so its nice when we get to the Lego parts of the build. One of the first things we built in this video was the front side greebling. This greebling is really simple and attaches in a very clean manner. The second part built, was the front underside, with all its red color and plating. The third part of this book was finally using the extra parts in unmarked bags and creating the ion thrusters on the rear of the ship. Finally, the fourth part, was to build the rest of the side greebling. This greebling makes the infamous docking bays on the ship. At this point, it is confirmed that the stand is a permanent fixture to the build. I look forward to the next video, as that will likely be the final four hours to complete this build and see the final product. This is so far a really compelling build. So far if I had to complain about a single thing, is that I do see the thrusters being prone to sagging. This is easy to see as the parts are already loose fitting.
