Lego Creator 3 in 1 Space Roller Coaster! (No It Didn't Fit, PLUS: Amusement Park Work!)
In todays build I am trying to do something I know will fail. We are building a Lego Creator 3 in 1 set for the Lego city. Like time and time before, this idea to do this has been nothing but failure. The set we are attempting to change our luck with is the new Lego Creator 3 in 1 Space Roller Coast set #31142, with 874 pieces. The idea behind this set is rather simple, we have the big Loop Coaster for the adults, but what about a smaller coaster for children. To start this build off we unbox the set, the set comes with 9 medium sized bag, 3 books, and no stickers. I did measure out the coaster to in theory only need two baseplates. I started off building the base only of the set. There I found problem one, the frame for the coaster is diagonal, the mills plate is straight. That means I have to adapt the coaster base to my MILS plate, instead of using the MILS plate alone. I found stud points that would secure the coaster to the plate, and then talked off the plate. This allowed my to complete the build, which was super fun and intriguing. At this point I had high hopes that this was the end of the problems and I can take the built coaster and plop it in. WRONG! The coaster hit the Loop coaster in such a way that the Loop coaster wouldn’t work. So then I had to brainstorm. I decided to shuffle around the noodle shop, and slide the Loop over 16 studs. By doing this we had our perfect mix. We were successfully able to finally integrate a Creator 3 in 1 set into a Lego city. We finished off some tiling, and performed a clean up, and we were done. I am super happy with the outcome of this project, and I thing it looks perfect. I did want to just say, I do plan on building the 1989 Batmobile to celebrate 500 subs, we are close! Please subscribe so we can get there! We have some awesome builds in October, including two modular buildings from 2010 and 2011 for the city! As always please comment your thoughts down below.
