Burnt Butter Brownies

Ingredients:
175g butter
150g chocolate
400g granulated sugar
3 large eggs, at room temperature
82g unsweetened natural or dutch-process cocoa powder*
125g all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
optional: 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
optional: 100g caramel chips
