Now the lore of the game switched to the "Rise of the Black Dogs" campaign, where the Cobra Unit of the Black Dogs joined the rest of the NSDF forces on Mars, shortly after securing their base on the Moon. While they are still investigating the plot of the Rogue NSDF forces, they got intelligence reports of a new weapon developed by the CCA. For now, they only know it is a type of "Super-Heavy Tank", codenamed "Mammoth".

In order to gather more information about this "Mammoth", Commander Shaw dispatched Cobra 1 to infiltrate the CCA Base and download the specifications of the Mammoth. However, the CCA deployed a complex circuit of Outposts in the area, constantly patrolled by several offensive vehicles. Hopefully, they won't expect to deal with a single enemy Pilot with no reinforcements at all.

This mission is tricky, because the enemies sometimes detect you, and are aware that you are an enemy unit without acting suspiciously, and other times they leave you alone after hopping out of the Tractor Tug. that always puzzles me, even now.
