Rain World Gameplay 2 Part 1 - Now I See Why the Monk Was the Easy Mode of This Game
I started a gameplay with The Monk, which turns out to be one of The Survivor's younger siblings. After the fall of the Survivor, the Monk decided to take action and rescue its sibling. While the Survivor was on its on journey through this hostile world, the Monk was determined to follow its steps to wherever was its destination, all of it to just reunite with their family. Despite the Monk's weaker body, its spirit is unbreakable, and it won't rest until finding the Survivor or die trying.
I could verify that playing with the Monk is much easier than playing with the Survivor, but predators are still eager to pounce on the Slugcat and eat it, so this difficulty is not quite a joke, as I still died a couple of times. What I didn't get, though, was that I could travel via Passage without having to explore the Regions I was offered to. I don't know if that was possible with the Monk or if the game counted the places I visited when playing as the Survivor before as "visited" by any Slugcat. Still, I took advantage of that, and traveled from the Outskirts to the Exterior in less than two hours. I also think I found the place where the Echo in the Shaded Citadel is, but I'll return there later.
I will try to complete my objectives here as quickly as possible, in order to play as The Hunter and the Slugcats of the Downpour expansion.
