By no demand whatsoever I decided to see if Dhalsim background elephants could be done as nicely on the C64 as I suspected...and yup this fully C64 legal multicolor image is how a C64 could do that part of the background. Fixed 2/4 colours is the nightmare but this would work with the Dhalsim sprite I uploaded this morning which is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeO8W5jQ2UU&t=24s
