Cal.50 - Caliber Fifty Arcade
11Players control a United States Air Force pilot who was taken as a prisoner of war in Vietnam in 1972.
The pilot must escape the prison compound by battling enemy soldiers with guns and grenades. Various power-ups are available that give the player use of various other weapons including a machine gun and flamethrower. Enemy vehicles such as a plane can also be commandeered.
Caliber Fifty offered 360 degree directional shooting, you can for example walk backwards, firing at the enemies who pursue you.
Enemies include not only various types of gunmen, armed with rifles, flamethrowers, or grenade launchers, but also tanks and helicopters. You can blast open crates to find ammo and supplies. Defeated enemies also leave you items.
The game has no levels, it's a straight up run to the helicopter that is going to save you and then the game it will ask you what military group do you wanna join, as scoring board.
Cal.50 is very short but also super hard, it's pretty easy die in one hit, picking up bullets increase the weapon power that you are using, but it is also your life bar, you can tank some hit from foot soldiers and lose only some power or downgrade to a weaker weapon, but every vehicle that shots you it will instantly kill you.
