California Games was a huge hit on the 8-bit platforms, so the Amiga version should be even better...right? Lets find out with this quick review.

We are currently playing California Games in the Lemon games competition at the time of writing this. I wanted to put one of my plays up to show the others what they can do, and then I made a voice-over to this play and rendered it. The whole thing took just two hours and I was about to upload it.

The next day, after a comment of support, I decided to add a little bit more to this impromptu review, and I wasted the whole day waiting for the introduction to render my latest Surfer character, only to find the stupid program had masked out his trousers. Waiting all day to add one character to the intro is what slows down the making of these reviews, and what could take minutes usually ends up taking 4 or 5 days of work, so that only one review is released per week. I have seen other reviewers release 3 in a day! So I wanted to see if this cut down version (which saves 3.5 days) would be enough. Of course I then added a quick caption after the roller-skater girl falls over, and this got changed a few times, leading to more changes and even more renders.

What was meant to be a quick demo turned out to be close enough to a full review, so I hope this little bit is enough to cheer some Amiga supports, who miss my channel.

I'm still working hard daily on Amiga Quantum Leap, and have spent double the amount I got from the kickstarter campaign already. I hope to release it by Christmas, and then perhaps start up the Amiga games reviews again after that.
