Call Center Tower vs. Major Quake (3D Collapse Simulation)
Here's a 3D call center office tower that I made in Blender. I have tested this building for a 7.6 earthquake and it collapsed since the peak ground acceleration was very strong (0.55 g). The building was located in close proximity to the quake's epicenter.
Still working on the reinforced masonry house project. Hope to post the simulation results soon!
Happy New Year everyone! :)

This video simulation was created in Blender 3D with the Bullet Constraints Builder (BCB - a structural simulation software) which extends Blender´s basic physics functionality with a sophisticated toolset to simulate load dynamics in building structures. It establishes constraining connections between rigid bodies that incorporate real world behavior and parameters. It has been developed at the Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland within the scope of EU Inachus FP7 Project (607522).
