Recently I've been playing a game called Cambria Sword, a doujin shoot 'em up that's far cooler than it has any right to be. Even though this is far from a full clear (this game is massive, I've only covered about a third of it here), I figured I'd post this video since there's hardly any videos of it and it deserves more love. This is my best run so far, clearing the first four stages and getting a little bit into stage 5 (I didn't skip any stages, which is a thing this game lets you do). I got lucky with the rare weapon spawn at about 9:10 (the weapon item with the glowing border), which made short work of stage 2 and the first half of stage 3.

I'm also testing out my video capture settings, since most of my videos are made from exporting an AVI from MAME and encoding it afterwards, rather than through a screen capture utility like this was done with. I used most of the same settings I use when streaming to Twitch, but with a higher bitrate; looks like I may need to play around with it more, because the more hectic visuals (such as boss explosions) got noticeably mangled by the compression.
