So this neat little found footage VHS styled horror game is a police training video for supernatural entities hiding in plain sight. The game was developed by Thorne Baker and it looks good, it sounds realistic and has a really cool little story which was apparently inspired by the Mandela Catalog which is a horror youtube series created by Alex Kister (https://www.youtube.com/c/MandelaCatalogue).

I really liked this. But I had to add subtitles that sometimes go over the screen, sorry about that. I think the audio of the game is at times a little too “retro” and hard to understand, so I figured I trade some of the cool looks for better understanding of the story.

So, I also think I might have gotten the last call to the police wrong, actually. I think that call happened before the VHS video before it. I thought the message that “mom is dead” was from the boy, knowing that she can’t be in the room because she died but maybe that sentence “mom is dead” was from the narrator or whatever, telling the boy that his mom was already dead. But before all that, he saw the weird dude, called the police and then the whole VHS bullshit happened, maybe the video was even made by the police who were there to investigate the house and the boy told them that his mom was dead and that the police should be careful?
