This indie horror game by Fletcher Poole could have been amazing. It has a great premise with you as the protag arriving at a more or less isolated island to assist the Lighthouse Keeper. It looks pretty amazing, the soundtrack is great and there are some incredibly smart and creepy ideas to get the atmosphere just right.

But then there’s a big ole stealth scene at the ending that broke me and for once I think it’s not because I am bad at stealth, I think because the AI is just a little too otherworldly perceptive which made it impossible for me to get anywhere near the ending. I also encountered a few other bugs, one of them had me restart the game, but those were honestly nothing compared to that frustrating last scene (that I played).

Still, I will keep Fletcher on my follow-list because with a bit more polish, this could be a smashing game.
