C&C Red Alert 2 Hard - Allies - Operation: Free Gateway 1/1
17Part 1/1 of Operation: Free Gateway in my C&C Red Alert 2 Hard - Allies walkthrough.
This level is quite easy considering how late in the campaign it is. Their base is rather pathetic to be honest.
Send your troops along the bridge and when the bridge splits off east and west, send your GIs and Engineers to the south to capture the Refinery and War Factory. Once this is done crank out two Chrono Miners and send them just north west of the Refinery for some Ore. Send Tanya to the eastern side of the Beacon base and blow the barrels up. Kill the patrols to avoid a nasty death for the next part. To save time, place a waypoint from the northern Tesla Reactors to the Beacon and then the other two Reactors and the rest of the defences in this compound to save time later. After this it becomes simple, most people like to test out the Prism Tanks for this level. The only ones you need to use really are the starting two to take out the Construction Yard. You also need about 10 Grizzlies and about 10-1 GIs base defences in case.
Once the Construction Yard is destroyed with your Prisms, move around the north east side of their base garrisoning the buildings to destroy the Tesla Coil, the Barracks the Tesla Reactors and the Battle Lab unites trapped in the sandbag. The Grizzlies should blow a hole in the wall where the Reactors were and take out the War Factory. Place them by your garrisoned structure(s) to help deal with the War Miners, Conscripts Rhinos and maybe V3s. If this fails you can depend upon your base defences to mop up the rest.
