Cannon Dancer - Osman playthrough
0Known as Osman in USA and Cannon Dancer in Japan. This is the Switch remake and the first console it ever had a release on. This game is a pseudo-sequel to Strider as it’s made by the same creator. It’s a bloody good game but as usual, insanely hard. With only 3 hits and an extremely tight time limit, I don’t think I could do it if I had infinite lives. Some of the bosses easily hit me 50 times and took so much time to take down, I would have never have made it and got sent back to the start of the level.
Luckily the switch version has a cheat option. I’m sure even with Mame, no one got to see how great the full game is. I used the infinite health and infinite time cheats. I wanted use as minimal cheats as possible but still make it completable.
The level design and graphics are wonderful and the fighting is great.
I did a second run with all the cheats on and it’s hilariously easy and a real blast to play. A lot of fun.
