One of the most legendary fighters to grace the arcades. Capcom vs SNK 2 is one of my favorite fighting games. Everything has been improved in this sequel, including a larger roster, better controls and endless depth. We're back to the classic six attack button scheme, so no awkward command normals for Street Fighter characters. The ratio system has also been refined, so you can now customize each character to make your dream team. Finally, the groove system to this day is still among the coolest of any fighter. You can choose from one of three familar Capcom or SNK mechanics that completely change how you use your characters. This makes mirror matches still very interesting to watch, for example, you could have a Zangief that could run at you KOF styles against another Gief that has custom combos Alpha styles. It allows so much exploration and expression and I know it was extremely tough to balance, but I hope to see this system again some day, and maybe we will finally get a trilogy in the future.
