Today for Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look back at Capture the Flag, a shareware title developed by Richard Carr through his Carr Software label back in 1993 which aims to replicate the traditional Capture the Flag sport in a digital, turn-based form.

Back when the game was still sold for $30 in the 90s there was also a special deal in that you could buy up to two additional copies for friends for only $12 each and you could have those copies personalized to show a message indicating who bought those additional copies.

One feature I forgot to mention is that while you have the map up, left clicking will bring up a quick unit overview so you can see how many movement points each of your teammates have left for the turn, which can be helpful when making sure you've done all of the movement worth performing before handing the turn over to your opponent.
