Cargo! The Quest for Gravity Playthrough Part Autumn: Tiny naked fat guys.
This is where SWAG came from.
This IS the gayest game environment ever.
And the protagonist is a girl. I'm so happy about that... :D
Anyway, this is the weirdest game ever. Even Japanese games make sense somwhere. This game, however, doesn't. Buy it for 9 euros and you'll be confused for at least 12 hours.
This game is very weird, hard to navigate, but it does have a charm and definitely tried (and succeeded) at something new, refreshing and alien.
That being said, there's a lot of mechanical issues. The boats are fine and cars respond nicely, but a type of vehicle coming up soon will make you wonder why they bothered putting it in.
It's no as free as you might hope, but it's just 9 euros and likely made by people who don't have the experience to make massive customisation options. Or maybe they didn't want to.
So, what DO you do?
You drag the 'buddies' around, kick them, make them dance and that makes them squeal with glee and secrete a flowery glop known as "FUN". Fun is basically money. It's used to progress and upgrade. Getting a metric fuckton is the requirement for being awesome here.
Buddies will pop after a bit so you can't spam them. After popping they respawn, unless killed by less friendly means, like jet-engines and giant penguin butts.
Big vehicles can carry more dudes and get more fun per whatever. Hence, buying parts is more an investment.
The achievements are awful, though, focussed on grinds. Like getting fast vehicles, GIANT vehicles and massive amounts of fun... it's annoying, but it's optional so whatever.
This is Steam's description of this cluster-cluck of madness:
"
The Gods haven't looked too kindly on humanity and Earth, as we know it, has been reduced to a group of island archipelagos, populated by "BUDDIES" -- pint-sized creatures, unbound by gravity's forces and free to float and frolic at their own whim and leisure.
The Gods have given the BUDDIES free reign over these colorful islands for their own willy-nilly, topsy turvy pleasure. But, there is a way to stop them ....FUN is the secret ingredient that will ground the BUDDIES and return gravity to Earth.
As one of Earth's last human survivors, it's up to you to dish out a healthy dose of amusement to restore order on Earth.
Do you have what it takes to outwit the BUDDIES and win back the favor of the Gods?
"
