Cargo! The Quest for Gravity Playthrough Part Winter: The attack of the Linux Penguins.
TMI Factoid: Some people would find those butt-poudning penguins sexy.
There, now you have your TMI for coming Tuesday. :D
It gets worse with the birds though... :(
TMI aside, the game gets more focussed from here. Obviously, the Earth stopped spinning, meaning that Seasons and Time have halted entirely. To compensate, they have giant volcanoes that, somehow, make it spring by blasting everything with fireballs.
First, however, that giant ice spire lands. In it is an army of adorable, hatch-happy Linux Penguins wanting to 'hatch' (read, squash) the egg-like Buddies. You need wheels to attack, and find them amongst the rabble. Don't worry, you yourself are completely immortal.
When you get some fancy wheels, the Linux penguins have to be driven over. They have HP, which slowly ticks down as they're stunned. Be quick, or more Buddies will be turned into flat carpets for their Igloo.
After that, the player is invited to race in their brand new vehicle. It's pretty easy, although NOBODY LIKES RUBBERBAND RACING AI. Especially when the controls aren't great. It's doable, but... you know. Don't do that.
At first, just ice-skaters, then some real cars and finally bombs to mess you up. Hit the straggling penguins for extra Fun.
After which, the player finds the Winter lasts too long. To fix, you must use a submarine to fix the volcanoes. The submarine is quite horrid to control, but it's easy enough. It's hard to navigate, so try not to get too lost. Follow the tracks!
But how does one activate said volcanoes? Well, since we're playing Cargo! the solution is random and completely bizzar. The first works with dancing and vuvuzelas that need to be plugged with steel barrels, gramophones and old-timey radios. This is pretty easy, though they don't warn you too well when the floor starts poofing and you need to save the dudes. You might want to... because the ending relies on keeping them alive.
The second is downright weird. First, you use Buddies on a Volcano Organ Hero machine (which isn't too bad). Finishing that, you have to get Buddies on a giant drum by manipulating smaller drums and having at LEAST 3 on the big one when the timer reaches 0. Basically, you get 10 mistakes in total here.
And then, Spring comes. However, plenty of ice remains, and only a giant platform made of ice can break it... yea... whatever?
