In the future, not having Shovel Knight in your videogame is a crime.

Pro Shovel Bubs tips:
- Shovel's basic attack is shorter than my enormous girth - use Charge Slash if you need additional reach.
- Shovel is a zoner, so being aware of the reach of your specials is vitally important.
- Abuse Phase Locket's invincibility, which will allow you to rapidly attack with no fear of reprisal. Note that this will drain your MP really fast and a dry Shovel Knight is a dead one.
- Plague Knight, Specter Knight and the Chaos Sphere are excellent at clearing out enemy projectiles.
- Shovel Knight hates enemies who are immune to Fire or Dark element attacks - they neuter some of his best ranged options.
- Shovel Knight is a midget but that isn't as much of an advantage as it seems
