So, as a bit of a break from 0-gold Tempo attempts... I decided to try some 0-gold Aria instead. ^^
The first run didn't go very well... which was perhaps to be expected (I was kind of still in "Tempo" mode). =p The second run, however... went a lot better. Of course, having a Glass Shop on the very first level definitely helped. ^.^
Anyway, there were definitely some scary moments during this run, and I actually lost not one but two Glass Armors (both times due in part to a skeleton knight! =p). But through it all, Aria managed not to step on any gold... and I ended up with my 4th (I think?) 0-gold Aria win! =)

1:49 Glass Shop, nice! ^^ Hmm, Aria only has 1 bomb, so I kind of want to hang on to it for now... and dagger is a bit of a risk, but... it's only the first level, so if things go badly, we haven't lost too much progress... yeah, let's go for it! ^^;

3:03 What the...? Wow, these are all good choices! Umm, let's see... torch is probably the least useful of the three, so... freeze or armor. Hmm... we already have 2 hits of protection, and while 4 would be nice... I think having freeze might be better overall for safety. ...oh, plus, using the freeze spell in the arena makes it a lot easier to get out without getting hit. ^^

If we ever lose the beat, though, we'll lose both the damage bonus and the potion, though, so... just going to have to be extra careful, and remember to use the freeze spell if necessary. ^^;
