So, since I'd already completed 5 of the 6 modes for the "Mode Master" achievement, I figured I might as well try for the 6th... and give the new Story Mode (4 characters & 5 zones, instead of 3 characters & 4 zones) a try. ^^
I was reasonably confident with Cadence and Melody, and figured if problems occurred, they'd probably happen with Nocturna (I'm still not as familiar with her final boss battles as I am with the ones for the other three story characters!)... or Aria (for obvious reasons). ^^;
The Nocturna run... went a lot better than I was expecting. =) After one false start (I realized I didn't have the Game Settings the way I wanted them, so I exited the run, changed the settings, and started a new Story Mode run!)... this run happened. Obsidian Longsword, Ring of Frost... and for the first time, I had a Bomb Charm going into the Conductor battle!
Interestingly, if you have a Bomb Charm, you can actually hit three batteries at once! Which is something I didn't realize at first, but did figure out before the end of the battle. =)
Anyway, here it is... my first ever 4-character Story Mode win! This video covers Part 1 (Nocturna)... hope you enjoy!
