So... Refunct! =)

According to the official description, "Refunct is a peaceful, short first-person platformer about restoring a vibrant world." Which is actually a pretty accurate description of the game. =)

IMO it's a pretty relaxing game. My first time through the game, I actually spent quite a bit of time just observing things like the skies changing from day to night, the stars fading with the dawn, what the underwater sections of the city looked like, etc, etc. =)

So... I was a little worried that this might've been calibrated for actual speedrunners... but it looks like it was calibrated for slightly more casual play! As you'll see in this video, you can make quite a number of mistakes and still finish in under 4min! ^^;


4 minutes might seem like a really fast time, but basically, if you learn two things, it becomes a lot easier:

1) Sliding is faster than running (so whenever it's possible to slide without losing control of your character, you should try to do so)!
2) A relatively efficient path (it doesn't have to be completely optimized... the path I used in this video isn't, but it still works for a sub-4min time)!

So anyway... if you're having trouble with this achievement (or are just curious to see if I used the same path/strategies you did), hopefully this video will be of help!

1:13 I'm pretty sure I've gotten out of here with 3 wall-jumps before, but the day I was recording this, I was having occasional troubles with wall-jump timing (as you'll see in at least one other place in this run!), so I intentionally used 4 jumps here. ^_^

3:00 I took a bit of extra time to make sure I didn't miss the jumps on the way to the next button... mainly because this is where my previous run failed. =p During the run when I got the achievement, I took this section a lot faster... but as this run shows, you can afford to take a little extra time, if a particular section is giving you trouble. ^_^
