CBNST: Beating the Developer Time - Hang 'em High (CB3) 0:32:86 [PC] (Slide Jumps Only)
Due to the level's nature, this level's developer time is more difficult and annoying to beat than the platforming levels preceding this one.
To beat the developer time, you had to shoot the stopwatch at the beginning of the level just like all other platforming levels. Thoughout the way try not to take damage from the enemies before reaching the third Aku Aku crate, as you must get the invincibility to go through the second overhead grating section in order to save time. Also unlike the previous platforming levels, you had to rely on slide jumps for much of the level (if not, the entire level) as there are very few opportunities to perform Mach Tornadoes in this level. And most improtantly, try to go through the overhead grating sections as quickly as possible.
Optional: There are two more time-saving strategies in this level. The first one is to skip some overhead gratings by either reaching to the opposing side with death tornado spin or jumping to the sides of the overhead gratings. While the second one involves the bazooka-jump combination (in other words, bringing out the bazooka to get some time crates while you are jumping). However, these strategies are not recommended for beginners especially the second one.
My run is far from perfect but somehow I'm really happy for my current time, as I had finally being able to sub 33 seconds in this somewhat tricky level with slide jumps only.
