GhostBlaster - A special game for the 10th anniversary of CCJVQ (Quebec VideoGame Collectors Club)

Day 2 : Bigger level.

The idea is to use the free space in the video memory, about 4K, to store the level. At each frame, part of the level is copied from video RAM to RAM to be converted into a graphic representation to be then in video memory.

This video can be see as a game or level design concept with lossless encoded data decompressed on the fly for a vintage game system using a good old Zilog Z80 processor.

No side effect apparently. Great!

Please note that this voice is generated with the demo core text-to-speech at&t web site.

The background music used in this video was composed earlier this year to be played during the title screen of this game project.
